BioJahanarabanu Vivana is my SCA persona. Jahanarabanu is a 7th Century Persian noblewoman. The daughter of a high ranking bureaucrat and a weaver. She learned to weave as soon as she could hold a shuttle. Now that the empire is being invaded, she is traveling with her uncle on a merchant voyage. She knows that traveling these distant lands will save her, but that she may never see her family again. The thing that keeps her sane is the wonderful textiles and weaving techinques she is learning along the way.
